The domestic garden standard, and the largest part of this catalogue. Full output every night of the year, controllable, and built to last ten to twenty years rather than two to four.
12V is extra-low voltage, which is what makes it a DIY-able system: the buried cable is safe, the fittings are safe to handle, and you can move, add to or re-aim the whole thing yourself. The only part needing an electrician is the 230V supply feeding the transformer.
Get three things right and it works for a decade: transformer sized at load plus 20%, cable sized for the run, and IP68 gel-filled connectors on every buried joint. All three are on Sizing a Transformer and Cable, and we will do the arithmetic for you free if you send the distances.
