Commercial and Contract

Fittings and systems specified for public and commercial settings: hotels, pubs and restaurants, event venues, estates, grounds and landscape contracts.

What changes at this scale is not the light, it is the robustness and the paperwork. Expect heavier-gauge fittings, drive-over ratings where vehicles go, zoned and timed control so the site can be run rather than switched, and documentation — IP ratings, load schedules and delivery notes carrying your PO reference — supplied as a matter of course.

Where lighting forms part of a planning condition, an ecological requirement or a conservation-area consent, tell us at enquiry stage. Specifying warm, shielded, part-night fittings from the start is far cheaper than retrofitting shields after a complaint — see Dark Sky and Wildlife.
