Sets with Transformer and Cable
Bollards, spike spotlights and step lights supplied in sets of eight to twenty-four, each with the transformer and cable already sized for the fittings in the box.
This is the shortcut past the arithmetic. If you know you want twelve bollards down a path or sixteen spotlights through the borders, a set costs less than the same fittings bought individually and arrives with a transformer that is actually the right size — which, going by the questions we get asked, is not a given elsewhere.
You still need to check the run length against the load: a set sized for one compact area can still drop too much voltage if you string it out over sixty metres. The table is on Sizing a Transformer and Cable, and we will check it for you if you send the distance.
